அன்னை தந்த உயிரும் உடலும் தாய்மொழியாம் தமிழுக்கே எனும் எண்ணத்தோடும், உலகம் எங்கும் தமிழனின் குரல் மூலம் நம் தமிழோசை ஒலித்திட வேண்டும் என்ற பேராவலுடனும், தமிழினம் என்றும் தலைநிமிர்ந்து வாழ்ந்திட வேண்டும் எனும் இலக்குடன் பிறந்த நம் தமிழ் குழந்தைதான் இந்த கிழக்கிந்திய நாடான இந்தோனேஷியா தமிழ்ச் சங்கம்!
திரைகடலோடி திரவியம் தேட, அழகிய இந்தோனேஷியாவில் பணி நிமித்தம் ஆங்காங்கே குடியேறி பல இடம் சிதறிக் கிடந்த தமிழ் உள்ளங்களை ஓரிடத்தில் ஒன்றினைத்து, ஒருவருக்கு ஒருவர் அறிமுகமாகி பழகிக் கொள்வதற்கு, ஒரு இணைப்பு பாலமாக செயல்படுவதுதான் பெருமையுடை நம் தமிழ் சங்கம்! 2011 ம் ஆண்டு துவக்கப்பட்ட இந்த அமைப்பு பல விதமான சோதனைகள் / சாதனைகளைக் கடந்து இன்று மாபெரும் அமைப்பாக இயங்கி வருவதில் தமிழுக்கு பெருமைதான்!
இந்தோனேஷியாவிலேயே பிறந்து வளர்ந்த மண்ணின் மைந்தர்களின் வாரிசுகளுக்கு தமிழ்ப்பாடங்கள் சொல்லிக் கொடுத்து அவர்களிடம் தமிழ் அறிவை வளர்க்கும் சேவையால் இன்று நமது தமிழ்ச் சங்கத்தின் சேவையினால் இங்கு பிறந்து வளர்ந்த நம் குழந்தைகள் தமிழ் மொழியை எழுதப் படிக்க நன்றாக அறிந்துள்ளார்கள் என்பதும் நம் தமிழ் சங்கத்தின் பெருமைதான்!
நோக்கம்
- இந்தோனேஷியாவில் வாழும் தமிழர்களை ஒருங்கிணைத்து அவர்களுக்கான ஒரு சமூக அமைப்பை உருவாக்கி அவர்களின் நலன்களுக்காக பாடுபடுதல்.
- இந்தோனேஷியத் தமிழர்களின் கல்வி, பொருளாதார, சமூக முன்னேற்றத்திற்கு பாடுபடுதல்.
- இந்தோனேஷியாவில் வாழும் புலம் பெயர்ந்த தமிழர்களையும் இந்தியாவில் இருந்து வந்த இங்கு பணிபுரியும் தமிழர்களையும் ஒருங்கிணைத்து செயலாற்றுதல்.
- கலாசார நிகழ்ச்சிகளை நடத்தி அதன் மூலம் தமிழ் கலாச்சாரத்தையும், பாரம்பரியத்தையும் பாதுகாக்க செய்தல்.
Mission
- To unite and build a community forum for Tamils living in Indonesia and work for their betterment.
- To uplift the educational, economic, and social status of migrant Tamils living in Indonesia.
- Promote closer understanding among the expatriate Tamil community and migrant Tamils living in Indonesia.
- To uphold the values of our ancient Tamil language and culture through cultural and social events.

- இந்தோனேஷியாவில் வாழும் தமிழர்களுக்கிடையே நல்லுறவை ஏற்படுத்தும் உறவுப்பாலமாகவும், தகவல் பரிமாற்றத்துக்கான தளமாகவும் செயல்படுதல்.
- தமிழ் இளையோர் சமுதாயத்தினருக்கு தமிழ்ப் பண்பாட்டில் ஆர்வத்தை ஏற்படுத்துதல்; தமிழ் பள்ளி, சிறப்பு தமிழ் வகுப்பு, தமிழ் நூலகம் போன்றவற்றை தொடங்கி தமிழை பயிற்றுவித்தல்.
